Terminology:
Inventory Margin
|
a store-level setting; this is the number of product units reserved to prevent overselling. Quantities entered here will be subtracted from QoH before SalesWarp sends inventory to the store. |
Minimum Qty on Hand
|
a store-level setting; this is the number of units of each product that must be available for the product that must be available for the product to be in stock for this store. |
Quantity on Hand (QoH)
|
the total number of units of product that are currently in stock. QoH increases upon reveiving new inventory from suppliers and decreases when product is shipped to the customer. Manual inventory updates also affect QoH. QoH is not affected when SalesWarp receives an order. At times, QoH is referred to as Stock. |
Quantity Reserved
|
the total number of units of product reserved for an order. Qty Reserved increases when SalesWarp receives an order and decreases when product is shipped to the customer. Qty Reserved is not affected by inventory changes such as purchase orders or manual updates. |
Quantity for Sale (QfS)
|
the total number of units of product available for sale. By default, the Quantity for Sale for each store equals Quantity on Hand minus Quantity Reserved (QfS = QoH – Qty Reserved). Tracking QfS helps prevent overselling and out-of-stocks. |
Reorder Threshold
|
a product-level setting; when stock reaches this number, a PO will be generated for a reorder. |
Reorder Enabled
|
a product-level setting; when enabled a PO will be generated for reorder when the Reorder Threshold is reached. Or if the item is Normally Dropshipped, a Dropship Order will be generated when stock reaches 0. |
Reorder Supplier
|
a product-level setting; this is the supplier for which automatic Purchase Orders will be generated. |
Back Ordered
|
ordered items that are not in stock and not on a Dropship Order |
